Anthony Michaels Brand founder Michael Anthony Yant is a Spring 1990 graduate of Florida State University where he graduated with a degree in Marketing. Michael began his custom clothing/styling career in 2012 by creating Anthony Michaels Custom Clothiers @anthonymichaelsclothiers. Michael is a renown Custom Clothier, Image Connoisseur, Style Coach, and Lifestyle Consultant that has produced custom clothing for people all around the world. The personal dedication he shows to his clients and the unique logo he attached to every custom suit, shoe, tie, or shirt gained so much appeal that his customers encouraged him to start producing a casual clothing line. Michael took their advice and produced his first Anthony Michaels Designer Tee in December 2015. His clients loved the shirts and decided to take a family photo of them wearing the Brand that they would later post on their social media page. Michael had no idea that one post would cause a demand for his designer tees. He began receiving messages from clients asking for him to produce more of the tees. The custom apparel line would soon have a following similar to that of his custom clothing and thus the #repthebrand3 hashtag was formed. Customers, who purchased an Anthony Michaels designer tee, would use that hashtag when posting pictures of them wearing The Anthony Michaels Brand.
For Michael, creating quality custom apparel for his clients is an obsession. He wanted the casual clothing line to embody the same quality and style as his custom clothing line. In May of 2016, Michael partnered with Michael E. Turner who took on the role as Vice President of Marketing and Brand Quality Manager. Michael, a Spring 1995 graduate of Southern University A&M also graduated with a degree in Marketing. Turner was a loyal customer who truly loved the Brand and would often provide design ideas to Michael. Turner's unique eye for fashion and style along with his attention to detail and obsession with brand quality has helped to improve the brand's quality and product offerings. We critique every product we produce to insure it meets the standards of quality we have set forth. Completely opposed to an industrial approach, where brands are produced in bulk to sell to mass audiences, we produce small quantities of our custom apparel to ensure that our customers have a unique and exclusive item.
The Anthony Michaels logo was inspired by the many conversations had over the years with his clients about life's opportunities and achievements. The empty circles represent life's opportunities and the full circles represents life's achievements. The logo's four circles represent the balance life brings to us on a daily basis. The Anthony Michaels Brand mission is simply to allow our brand apparel to fit the lifestyle and uniqueness of our individual customers.
